    "It’s a 15 minute ride to the train station and about an hour to an hour and ten minutes to Manhattan by LIRR. With no traffic it’s about an hour and ten minutes to drive to the city. With traffic all bets are off. There is no shopping or schools within walking or biking distance, driving is a necessity. "

Cons: far from town, so it’s a long bus ride to school, longer than normal ride to after school activities; most classmates will not live within walking or biking distance so cannot visit friends without being chauffeured.
