"Lovely town to live and raise your family. Very diverse town and great school system. Many near by shopping centers and great eaterys. Great police and law enforcement in town. One complaint is some parts of town are busy. Well light streets and sidewalks. "

"I wouldn’t say it’s unique, but it’s quiet and people are friendly. Clean, roads could be a little better and no side walks "
  • Oldawnie
"Dog walking, quite a few dogs. Dog-friendliness. No dogs allowed to roam loose. Nice dog meadow on Church St."
  • Oldawnie
"We have lived here for 33 years. In our immediate vicinity, our yards are large and there are few houses mixed with small commercial entities (gas station, coffee shop, hair salon, restaurant, small grocery). Our next-door neighbor has lived here for over 60 years. Well-established area. Neighbors don’t socialize with each other, but speak and exchange greetings. The size of the properties gives privacy, and interacting with the town is up to the individual, and at different levels. One neighbor is active in scouting. When our son went through the school system, that brought us more into school activities. There are few kids in the vicinity, That has been true through out time here. Properties are kept up. It’s a quiet place to live. There’s a lot of traffic on Hartford Ave, but the houses are sheltered by trees and set back on the property."
  • Trulia User
"There is a great grooming salon right down the road. And there are many neighbors with dogs. They walk them at the park."
  • Cindyart61
