9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBelow expectations. This District should provide more to the students and staff. Not all students are interested in band nor have that talent; yet this is what is really (emphasis here) promoted. There needs to be more well rounding of resources for other programs here. The STEM Saturdays are a great step forward. More of this, please!!! Before and after school programs are needed to help supplement as well as teach transitions. You'll see kids hanging out in front, roaming the streets, and hanging out at CVS. There's no options for these kids as parents work and there's no onsite programs. there has to be a way to fund a program for these kids. it's sad to see the bad habits start early. We will lose these kids. we pay for a private after school program , which is very pricey, but we know it is worth it. We want our child to have help with homework and a safe place to go.Parent Review7y ago8 Reviews - Charles Wagner Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers and principal are amazing. The Wagner community is so special. My kids are thriving here and are so happy. Of course not everything is perfect but the principal takes comments and concerns seriously and communication with families is great. The kids have great support. I couldn’t ask for more from a school.Parent Review3w ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near 319 E Palm Dr.

"This is a great neighborhood for dogs. People are very kind and responsible. They do require leashes at the park, but most people are pretty cool if your dog is trained. "

"Lived here for 11 years. There is a sense of community. Neighbors know each other by name. Other neighbors walking by will say high. Families are predominate and kids play with one another. We feel safe here and have no plans to move - Placentia is a well kept secret of North OC. Stores, parks , restaurants will have the same small community vibe (in a Suburban setting) - it’s highly probable you will run across someone you know, have the door open for you, cars letting you go first on the road or just running across someone you know from your kids school."

"Local commute to the next city over. Only about 10-15 minutes away. I don’t require use of freeway. If working in Los Angeles, plan for an hour or more each way"

"Placentia is a fun place to live with lots of community events going on. concerts in the park, taste of Placentia, Tamale fest, Harvest parade and so many more. We have a good school system. It is a safe city with plenty of sidewalks and parks. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers for all ages and we are centrally located to the 57, 91 and 55 freeways and a hop, skip and a jump to the John Wayne Airport."

"Dogs are common and welcome in Placentia. Unfortunately, there isn't a dog park in the city, but Brea has a nice, fairly new dog park on Valencia just past Lambert. They recently took the dog waste bins/bags out of the sports complex, but it's not that big of a deal. Most houses here have plenty of room for multiple dogs, just be careful with small dogs in the with as coyotes are active even in early hours of the morning. "
