6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children entered Rea View in the middle of the school year, in the middle of a pandemic. They were received with open arms and made to feel like part of the class immediately. The work load was rigorous without being too much, both classroom teachers communicated weekly, one daily via the agenda. If there was ever a concern, I felt that I could talk to the teacher. I appreciate the smooth transition to a new school and my children look forward to going back this fall.Parent Review2y ago - Marvin Ridge High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMarvin Ridge does have a good curriculum and has achieved great things academically, but they are still lacking in a few areas I believe. The bussing is fairly bad, though maybe it's understandable because of bus shortages, and the car traffic management isn't amazing. Also, the cultural atmosphere in the school is generally not that great, and it doesn't feel like there have been attempts to address it, such as bullying. Racism and queerphobia can be a bit commonplace sometimes, but that's what you can expect in many parts of the South anyway. Either way, on an academic level I would mostly recommend sending your child here. There are quite a lot of clubs, various good classes they can choose from, and higher level options such as AP, IB, or dual enrollment through SPCC that can all serve to be great things.Student Review1y ago - Marvin Ridge Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTwo of my kids have been to this school and it has been a great experience for them overall. The school have lot of good programs to allow student to grow at right pace. While there are few exceptions like most schools, most of the teachers are great.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 318 Montrose Dr.

"Waxhaw is quiet and quaint. It’s old fashioned and frozen in time perfectly. Everyone here usually smiles in passing or waves. Most everyone knows each other, but it’s forever growing. This once small town is becoming more popular for people wanting to escape the city."
