The teachers are over worked, uninspired, lacking the necessary resources to be effective, and are not respected by administration. Unless of course they are in the clique of people who are the principal's favorites. Yes, there is a group favored by the principal and its obvious. If you aren't in that group, you are advised to keep your head low and your mouth shut or suffer the consequences. They administration at Clary do not value feedback from teachers and tend to get defensive when given any. It is not a supportive environment for newer teachers although they will say there is a lot of support available. If you use it you are looked at as weak and will be labeled as "struggling". This district talks a lot of talk about being anti-racist, progressive, and claims to have the students' needs in mind - but it is just that, all talk. I would avoid working at this school and this district altogether if you can help it.

As a kid at this school i do not really trust it the teachers and staff are nice but all the fighting is really bad they shod get more guards and have more protective areas in the school.

This school has really gone down hill the past 4 or 5 years. The state test scores show it and the kids are out of control.
