About this House

This is a recently remodeled space in an impeccably maintained HISTORIC building. DOGS and/or CATS OK! This place is FURNISHED, and made for a high quality of life in an elegant space with quartz marble counters, custom cabinetry, recessed lighting, space saving built ins, original crystal doorknobs, all new kitchen and bath with designer finishes, all while also retaining and honoring original character of this one-of-a-kind studio. Fully furnished.

On the walls, you'll find original signed art from Long Beach WALLS! artists, bringing the outside in, and connecting your rental with the vibrant Long Beach culture right outside your windows.

Nearby... La Traviata italian is IN the building, steps from beach, lighthouse, shoreline, and convention center- AND the metro rail and bus are ON the block! This is a centrally located dream! That is only going to get even better as the Olympics approach!

A few features that can be useful to know: you have a walk in closet, TONS of space saving features, a lofted bed area which DOUBLES the space, PLUS a sofa with room for guests. This space has REAL storage and feels significantly bigger than its square feet!

The space is quiet! Set back from the street, thick plaster walls and on a high floor makes it an oasis in the middle of the city. You might be wondering what the building is like and it is great. People are courteous, there is a sense of community everything is sparkling clean all the time. Mail and trash on the floor, recycling and laundry in basement. Keyed entry keeps everything secure. It is really well managed and done above and beyond.

Technology friendly! Tons of extra plugs, USB ports and contactless charging. We have completely rewired the place, installed a flatscreen TV with roku. TURNKEY and ready to go!

The Willmore is a historic building & iconic landmark in downtown Long Beach built in 1925 in a Renaissance Revival style by Fisher, Lake & Traver, the great minds behind the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Enjoy incredible city lights views from every window. Many period details were kept; glass & brass doorknobs & Honduras Mahogany moldings.

From this location, no car is necessary, but there is a space for rent with the unit if you would like.

Common areas are amazing! There is a rooftop deck that is unheard of, with VIEWS of the OCEAN and a giant top floor solarium with ocean views as well. Both have free wifi for residents and are really these wonderful additional spaces available to residents that expand the quality of life of all here. There is also a giant downstairs lobby with multiple seating and meeting areas. These are very valuable and unusual offerings of this size in a building right downtown, as many have since been converted to more units in other buildings.

How can I view? We will host viewings on upcoming Sundays and Mondays. All day. Message us and we will be onsite or nearby to facilitate an immediate viewing.

Showings all day most Sundays and Mondays. Email to confirm your time.

All utilities: water, power, trash, electricity, maintenance, security, common areas $80/month. Wifi included in common areas. Fully furnished. Parking can be included with rent upon discussion.

"Thing change very quickly from 1 block to the next. There are nice hotels and good restaurants. But just be careful walking in areas not very well lit. But yes there are some amazing sights to see and things to do both day and night. "
  • Taylor.woodson4
"As usual , keep your kids close by. Other than that downtown is solid. A lot of different places for different races with solid vibes."
  • Trulia User
"Dog friendly, but watch your step and don't be surprised by the stench. Street cleaners can't keep up, but even worse businesses/apartment complexes don't ever rinse their buildings to assist in keeping the city nice. "
  • Trulia User
"We have the Jazz festivals come every year,The Gospel Fest, entertainment,The Aquarium, The theater, bike rentals, you can go walking on a trail, wow looking at a an amazing Scenery ,the ocean, the beaches, shoreline Village, Lots of shopping shops etc. gorgeous exotic view beautiful sunsets need I say more it is a lot to do nice neighborhood clean just fabulous"

  • Mallory N.
"A lot of Dog parks and open grassy areas to walk dogs and allow dogs to play. Many apartment communities allow pets in the home."
  • Donna W.
"Lots to do, walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, etc. Multi ethnic groups. "
  • Porshatlw

"Has good access to public transportation but everyone feels unsafe on the trolley train. So I don't use it, to many homeless, drug seeking or psychiatric cases along Long Beach Blvd. and Ocean Ave."
  • Kelly O.
"Lots of pups and parks! Sidewalks aren’t crowded and they are well lit. Most pup owners are courteous and clean up after their pups."
  • Kelly O.
"Vegan food festivals monthly Monday night market Taste of Long Beach Dine Lbc week Pow wow lbc Love festival Music feels good Day parties on the Belmont pier"
  • Rabab A.
"I’ve worked in LA (South Bay Area) and now the OC. Long Beach is one of those magical places where it doesn’t matter which direction you take on the 405. Either way your drive is terrible."
  • Nathan J.
"I take public transit to work every day, transferring from the A Line to the Green Line. LA Metro has lots of annoying delays, but it’s still faster than sitting in traffic all day."
  • Judy T.
"Not enough places for dogs to play off leash . We need larger dog parks downtown. Not enough grass either. And the city does not maintain the dog park anyway. And leash laws are not enforced!"
  • Julia
"I don’t know if many ā€œfamilyā€ events, but I do see some cool stuff happening in Pine Ave. every now and then "
  • Sam D.
"Very lively and diverse. Great restaurants and shops as well as outdoor activities. Perfect for riding bikes on weekends or beach activities."

  • Matthew G.
"The definition of city living. Plenty of places to eat, drink, walk. Don’t count on parking however."
  • Kat
"I’ve lived in this area for a little over two years. It’s very diverse, and friendly and neighbors look out for one another. "
  • Therealcaioo
"It has dirty streets, with no parking space. A lot of people walk with their dogs, but few clean their poop. Trash around everywhere, also the street sweeping doesn’t work well, but they will give you a fine if you leave your car there. "
