"My neighborhood has easy access to everything (grocery stores, hospital, restaurants, Churches, parks, and downtown). It has a city feel with small town atmosphere. My family love the diversity and the southern charm "
  • Nesha Gursoy
"Car required and a good 35 miles from most city amenities, but peaceful and quiet while lively and bustling."
  • Jhallen65
"Well this neighborhood has paved streets and most people exercise around the block everyday. Only a few people walk a animal here. "
  • Kimberly F.
"We have parades and fireworks for holidays and events for family and children , the stores in the area are friendly and stick together. This is a neighborhood where you can be proud to live and feel safe raising your children, the jobs here are good and the pay is decent. "
  • Lily O. C.
"ive lived here my entire life its safe an the people are very kind over all a good area to raise a family "
  • Dana P.
"This is a very dog friendly neighborhood, with many people walking their dogs. A dog park was also recently added to the neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"Very quaint with plenty of farms and plenty of shopping alike. Beautiful well maintained roads for afternoon drives. Close to mcgees cross roads, white oak, and Raleigh "
  • Martin Z.
"I have lived in Smithfield for years and people mind their own business. No one really interacts with each other. Everyone seem shady. "
  • SilasSauls
"This town is very safe. The people are friendly, respectful and neighborly. It is quiet, yet with enough amenities to enjoy and complete and happy life. May be the best kept secret in NC."
  • Ellismata
"I have lived in this Neighborhood for more than 10 years. We love it, very convenient to locations and very Friendly neighbors "
  • Marclstewart19
"It’s a brand new subdivision with very nice neighbors. It’s also very peaceful and serene. It’s not too far from the Smithfield Outlets and has an old fashioned, small town, tight knit community feel to it."
  • Michelle S.
"Easy drive to Raleigh and close proximity to Smithfield."
  • Brandie
"I live in this area, and I haven't had any problems as far as crime or vandalism go, but there is a lot of foot traffic coming in and out of the neighborhood, and many of the travelers are inebriated and talkative! Also, the probation administration is within 100 yards, so I do worry about the kind of people passing through. On the positive side, there is a lovely local grocery store, Edwards IGA, very close by, as well as a Pizza Hut and a Domino's within easy walking distance (less than 5 min). The rent in this area is below what is normal for this city, but beware of the utility bill...ours was over $350 a month in the winter, which was over half of what we pay in rent, and we are VERY careful about not wasting electricity or water!"
