1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrick Middle School was once the school that every Parent wanted their child to be at, Since Mr. Criddle has left the school it has really went down, down, down. That's really sad, because I feel that the students of today are not learning anything, most of them are in school only half day and some cannot come to the school at all only for testing. Mr. Criddle once had his staff on point as well as the students and the parents, it was a family school now it just feels like a building with people in it, I think that the school district such model Frick after Mr. Criddle, meet with him to find out what worked for the students, parents, staff and administration of the school so that the children can return to receiving a better education.Other Review11y ago - Laurel Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have loved attending Laurel Elementary. The principal has worked hard to create a safe, supportive, and joyous learning environment and the teachers are kind and capable. We’ve been most impressed by how many leadership opportunities the kids have been given- most assemblies have student MCs. The adults stand back and let the kids shine. The school really emphasizes and lives its motto- Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Safe. They have a great music program and even their own school song. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers are generally compassionate and demonstrate cultural sensitivity to the needs of all students. The linked learning program is moving in a positive direction and their tailored Newcomer program helps English language learners succeed. I'm encouraged to learn that their internship program has tripled over the last 3 years. There currently is a construction project on site, which includes a new 2 story building, updated on-site clinic and a new stadium/gym to replace their current 90yd football field.
