SUMMARY
Dating back to 1919, Casa Antigua has a rich history as a one-of-a-kind property in downtown Key West. As one of Key West's first hotels, Trev-Mor, this historic property used to house 46 rooms, a jazz club, and guests as elite as Ernest Hemingway. Ernest himself would say that this property is the reason he fell in love with Key West - with views of the seaport, walking distance to Mallory Square, and Sloppy Joe's just steps from his front door.
Now known as Casa Antigua, referring to "old house" in Spanish, the third-floor studio ensures an unparalleled place to live. Now transformed into a three-story interior atrium, surrounded by lush tropical greenery and a pool, we can ensure this property is unforgettable.
SPACE
Flooded with natural light, the entryway and desk area provide a private space for your work-from-home set up.
Cozy into the king-sized bed surrounded by exposed brick and floor-to-ceiling windows, with blackout curtains. The modern bathroom features a double vanity, walk-in shower, and deep jacuzzi tub, offering a perfect retreat for relaxation and unwinding.
Unwind on the sectional couch in the open-concept living space, play a tune on the historic piano or cook a meal in the built-in kitchen equipped with top-of-the-line appliances. The distinctive row boat island countertop provides a one-of-a-kind touch to the dining space.
LOCATION/NEIGHBORHOOD

What Locals Say about Historic Seaport
- Mari.lindsley
- Resident

"I've lived here for 2 years and enjoy the walkability to local theatres and restaurants. There's a strong homeless contingency that detracts from the seaport. But you can't blame them for wanting to be in paradise."
- Tom

"There are many festivals and events that include the Key West Historic Harbor. Venues include Schooner Wharf, Waterfront Brewery, The Marker, etc.."

"Tourist don’t clean up after their dogs, but locals do. This is a wonderful neighborhood. Gecko lane is especially beautiful and very private. "
- Ctmortman

"Perfect place for dogs. There are several dog pearls on the island and some restaurants are pet friendly. I own a dog watching business on Marco Island...a service much needed there"
- Sue S.

"We vacationed here for the month of February 2014. We did not rent a car but had bikes for a week. We are walkers and walked an average of 1-2 miles for dinner and many miles during the day touring, hiking, etc. This area is accessible to most anything."
