Principal is a joke. He makes blanket accusations about kids without provocation. Super unorganized. Office staff has no idea what they're doing but feel the need to be extremely rude and condescending over the phone. Oh and if your kid is being bullied, they won't do a thing about it. But if your kid finally sticks up for herself after being taunted all year, she's accused of being racist. This school is the absolute worst school.

Very happy with Sparrows Point. My son is part of the magnet program and it has been amazing. He has made friends, and the teachers have been so supportive. I am so happy this is the school my son chose. The community also shows up for the school. It has a “small town” high-school vibe.

Sparrows Point Middle School stands out not just for what’s taught, but for how. If you’re looking for a place where students are supported academically, emotionally, and socially; where teachers and counselors truly care; and where leadership cultivates excellence, this school deserves every one of its five stars. My child has thrived at Sparrows Point Middle School and the teachers and community have a shared kindness that goes deep, rooted in genuine concern for every child’s growth. I highly recommend this school system.
