As a parent, I want to share both the positives and areas of concern about Georgetown Primary.Pros:•The school has caring teachers who work hard to support student learning.•My child has grown academically and socially since being here.•There are great opportunities for students to get involved and be recognized for their progress.Cons:•Communication between the school and parents could be much stronger. Important incidents don’t always get shared in a timely or supportive way.•Sometimes discipline and safety situations feel brushed off rather than fully addressed, which can be discouraging as a parent who wants the best for their child.•More consistency is needed in how all students are treated, especially when it comes to behavior issues.Overall, Georgetown Primary has potential and strengths in its staff and student community, but I hope to see improvements in communication, safety, and parent partnership going forward.

Attended this school for one semester and it was BAD. The facilities were dilapidated and gross, infested with cockroaches, rats, and such, and it does not prepare students for college and/or other post-education paths at all. Think of the worst school you can imagine, and then triple its worseness. That is Indian River High School. Bottom of the barrel. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL.

This school made me feel like dying, constant bullying, no help, no body even cared, I'm still attending and I've never and I mean never had SO many anxiety attacks in one school year, also the rumors never get taken care of, I'm constantly judged, constantly bullied, constantly looked down upon, even my sister was physically harmed, mentally and emotionally destroyed as so am I, my father is threatening putting this school on wavy 10 and i hope he does. Don't put your kids here. Keep them safe

This school is highly insensitive toward children my grand daughter practiced all week to join the cheerleading team . Not only did they not let her in but the the things they said about her in the comments section of the post card they gave her saying why she didnt make it was the most heartless thing I ever seen a shool do to a child. Had my poor grand baby crying all night. These are little kids.
