"Quiet, peaceful and secluded area that many don’t even know exists. One of the few condominiums in Alma. "
  • Michael Gibson
"homecoming parades, farmers markets, the yearly fair, downtown activities, decent school district also! great little small town "
  • Cynthia
"scotsdale trailer park is a large park with different areas of single wide and double wide homes. It is just across the road from Meijer & Walmart, & other businesses, a gas station & Taco Bell at the entrance to the park "

"good stores and nice restaurants and nice shops and nice cops on the road good churches nice things to do like the parks "
  • Leroyrichards856
"nice place to take kids have good places to eat at and good things all over here others talk to you and ask how are you doing today "
  • Leroyrichards856
"dogs are outside all the time with others people walking with them people talk to you when walking by ur house "
  • Tarynjackson
"Dog owners would like that their are sidewalks and that it is safe to walk dogs at night or early in the morning. During the winter the sidewalks are not salted though so walking in the street may be a better option. People are pretty good at slowing down and giving my dog and I time to walk past them. "
  • Bjfrench2011
"Alma has a great atmosphere in regards to feeling safe in the city. Crime rate is low and crime itself seems very basic and non eventful compared to Saginaw or Flint areas just an hour East."
  • Bjfrench2011
"Highland Festival happens annually every memorial weekend in May. This is the biggest event Alma hosts and people come from all over. The schools here are phenomenal as well as preschool options. I would say the only thing Alma is missing is descent outdoor social space for kids and teens. There is a golf course for older folks but as far as a community center or splash park, Alma is definitely lacking."
  • Bjfrench2011
"I have lived in this area for three years now and don't mind it. Main street gets crowded on weekends, and there are only 2 parades a year that I have noticed. There is a Dominos Pizza being built so things are looking up for this town. "
  • Fred P.
"This is a great area with everything close by. Very safe, very family friendly."
