About this House

Charming historic house in Old Town Lafayette for rent. Completely furnished.

Available November 26. This is a 6-month lease, through May 31 2026 or thereabouts. Move in/out dates are somewhat flexible.

Fantastic location in the heart of Lafayette, three blocks from historic Public Road and Simpson Street in Lafayette. Large modern kitchen, south facing sun room with hot tub, two beds, one bath. Big master bedroom with office space. Nice landscaping with native and xeric plants. Washer/dryer, radon mitigation system, fiber optic internet. Quiet neighborhood with good neighbors all around.

No pets. Maybe a cat, we can discuss. The main thing is to take good care of the place and water the houseplants. Utilities included - gas, electric, water, wastewater, internet. Internet is fiber but standard service, upgradeable if you want to pay the difference.

I am available for showings through December 1. After that, showings are available through my showing agent. Through December 1 contact via email or phone, but after December 1 only email will work.

No first month/last month rent. Just security deposit $2500. Utilities included in rent. Internet is new fiber optic, so if you need faster service just pay the difference. Early termination fee is one month's rent. No smoking except in sun / hot tub room. $25 lost key fee. Renter's insurance is not required, mostly for your benefit but also mine. Never rent without it!
