About this House

Welcome to this fully renovated 1000 sq 2nd floor unfurnished 3 Bed, 1 Bath apartment in a 4 unit building. This apartment recently went over a full overhaul. I am the building owner I am looking for roommates to live together.

Renovations include:
Full bathroom remodel
Full Kitchen remodel
New vinyl plank floors and carpets in every room
New walls and paint in almost every room
ALL appliances are brand-new
New light fixtures
New baseboard heaters

Amenities include:
Dishwasher
Pin pad code doorknobs to enter the apartment
Lots of windows
Washer and Dryer included
Baseboard heat

Utilities:
Included: Winter heat, water, sewer, and trash removal, electricity, hot water
If the electric bill surpasses $150, the remainder is to be evenly split among all roommates.
There is included internet but it has a hard time reaching Bedroom 3 well. I intend to improve that soon.

Not Included: Phone, cable, air conditioning (BYO window AC)

No pets

This is a no smoking property (Sorry, no exceptions)

Must pass a credit check, background check, and reference per adult

Bed 1 measures roughly 9' x 9' and has a closet and is $800 per month
Bed 2 is several feet bigger and is set at a rate of $900. It also has a closet
Bed 3 measures roughly 9' x 8.5' not including the hall part of the room and is $800 per month
Each room requires a damage deposit equivalent to 1 months rent.
Must sign a month to month lease that sets all rules and regulations in stone.

I am looking for a total of 3 roommates to live here. I am big on rules and boundaries. I have had several roommates over the years, some went great, others not so much. The successful relationships were based on fair mutual respect. I think lots of little rules and boundaries that are obeyed is key.
Some rules I am big on are:
-Quiet hours
-No dishes in sink
-No guests
-Being receptive to creating new rules

I think most issues can be solved not by discipline, but by redesigning schedules and establishing solid rules.

Bathroom and kitchen will be cleaned MINIMUM once per week.

Must be LGBTQ friendly

"There are lots of dogs in the neighborhood quiet roads and sidewalks to walk them. There are also trails and parks nearby. The only issue for us in our neighborhood is that there are several families that allow their dogs to be outside off leash and unfortunately our dog does not do well with other dogs."
