Overall, I’d give Redwood High School 4 out of 5 stars. The school has a pretty competitive environment — a lot of students really push themselves to get the best grades, which can be motivating but also very stressful at times. Some kids can be a bit mean, and I did have a few teachers who weren’t the nicest.That said, most of the teachers were genuinely kind, supportive, and passionate about what they teach. They helped me rediscover my love for learning and actually made me excited to come to school again. Despite a few negative experiences, the good definitely outweighed the bad.

I went to this school and I have a learning disability they completely ignored it and said I just need to “try harder” please don’t send your kids here they will hate it.

Neil Cummins, under the leadership of the new principal and his team, is losing many of the strengths established by the previous administration. A lack of leadership and strategic direction has led to a complete disengagement of parents from school life. Several highly regarded teachers have left or been forced into retirement, while some of the recent hires have displayed unprofessional and, at times, discriminatory behavior. School still have some very good and caring educators, but they stay away from the principal and try to ignore what is happening in the school overall. As a result, families who can afford to do so frequently transfer their children either to private schools or to other districts/Cove school. Families connected with the corrupt Spark organization have created a closed, influential circle that controls many aspects of school life—and they thrive.

Excellent experience as a parent with two in school. I’m not sure what the negative reviews stem from, but any school needs a parent to be engaged and supportive of all elements of the scholastic plan.Cove’s deliberate and comprehensive approach is as solid as any I experienced myself and seems on par with the best schools my friends’ kids attend.
