About this House

This wonderful semi-detached home was totally rehabbed in 2015. It is located in the Village of Roebling where so many conveniences such as grocery stores, drugstore, post office, multiple churches, Roebling Museum, and the Roebling Park with walking trails along the scenic Delaware River and connection to the Heritage trail are all steps away. The River Line Train Station is blocks away and the public bus route runs through Hornberger Ave. This approximately 1300 square foot brick semi-detached home offers a nice curb appeal, with a welcoming front porch that is screened and roofed. This front porch area will be one of your favorite relaxation places when you need to enjoy some outside nature. This room is roofed and screened, so protected from the outdoor elements. The open entry into your main floor living space will excite you with the beautiful hardwood floors and the open floorplan. The combination Dining and Living rooms are both very spacious, and the main floor modern half bath is an added bonus that few homes in the area have. The kitchen offers an abundance of cherry toned cabinets and stainless steel appliances. All appliances in the home are being conveyed in as-is condition, so keep them as long as possible and maybe replace them as needed. The tiled kitchen floor and granite countertops make this 13' x 11' kitchen very appealing. There is plenty of room here for an eat-in table area if that fits your decor. The back door off of the kitchen leads to your fenced yard that is 110' deep. There are no houses directly behind you, as the historic building that was once a Fire Hall is situated behind you and allows private events. The upper floor landing leads to a modern, tiled full bathroom, including the tub, vanity, faucets, and commode. Three bedrooms are available on the second-floor space, and each is spacious and offers ample closet space and wood flooring. The basement is where the laundry currently exists, and the washer and dryer are also being conveyed as-is. The basement could offer a great recreation area and is currently not a finished, room. However, that possibility could exist for the new buyer! The Roebling homes are not only historical, they are so well built and simply architectural masterpieces. They make great starter homes, although your start may also last for many years, all the way to your finish line. This home is so nice, that you will want to schedule as soon as possible.

"Holiday’s and seasonal festivities like fall fest, truck or treats, tree lighting ceremonies with free activities in the town’s museum, Santa meet & greet, and the same for Easter with fun egg hunts for the kids. The town is also big on Halloween and there’s always some kind of event to part take in each month. "
  • Danielle Kawecki
"It’s an all around solid little town to live in. There are a few parks you can go to, one of them has a pretty decently sized dog park!"
  • Tonya Bain
"It’s a very family friendly location. We visit regularly and are planning a move in the near future. "
  • Ahammond2230
"My neighborhood has plenty of public transporation including the riverline train and buses. It also has plenty of parking to accomidate drivers. It is minutes away from major highways such as I295 and Route 130. Very easy to travel and close to major cities like Philadelphia. Everything like stores and doctors offices are close by and not hard to get to. "
  • nancy d.
"I live in Roebling, NJ and find it a very quaint and safe town to reside. There is a riverside park across from my home. Upon completion of work being done on the newly added areas this park will extend all the way to the Delaware River. The town is dog-friendly and at any given time of day one will see happy dogs wagging their tails as their owners take them on their daily walks. The area is very quiet and historic and walking tours add to the charm of the town. There is a fantastic tomato pie restaurant within walking distance that is a local favorite and best kept secret. The Roebling Museum is just around the corner and is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or partake in the many events it offers throughout the year."
