4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey only have 1 math tutor for 4+5th grade who can only spend time with students who are TWO grade levels behind. They will put your child in ELA tutoring even when they get straightAs and not even tell you about it. The common core workbooks are awful and even when your child is doing well in general, the worksheets will make them appear as they are failing and some teachers will respond with “it’s ok to fail and struggle” or “I gave them a 10/100 for effort” and then explain how your children doesn’t need extra help. They are only a small handful of teachers there who are phenomenal. Also, they do fun run boosterthons to raise up to $15,000 for school supplies every year and still ask for school supply donations such as paper and still don’t have enough tutors. It's the best high school in the area. They're amazing and truly care. There are several after school clubs students can join and a great athletics program. I MISSED MY DAUGHTER'S PLAY FOR THANKSGIVING because they didnt mention there would be one, nor what day or time it may be! Picking her up from school was terrible on the few days that she needed to be picked up, because you have to wait in this 'breezeway' area for a long amount of time outside in whatever weather there may be and file into the cafeteria in a mob that is almost impossible to get out of. I have so many negative comments about thus school, it's ridiculous. I cant get all of them out. That should say A LOT about this place.Parent Review4y ago
