About this House

The circa 1895 Julian-Phillips house is a classic Victorian. Located on the old Confederate prison ground site in the Brooklyn South Square neighborhood, one of Salisbury's ten historic districts. Home has been lovingly restored and offers a wonderful front sitting porch showcasing pretty flower beds. A side sunroom addition dates to the 1950's . A brick patio on the side of the home overlooks a nice garden area. Hardwood floors with some Parquet flooring. Large upstairs bathroom has both a separate shower and claw foot tub. Kitchen has great work flow and plenty of cabinets with granite counters, under-mount sink and surface mount electric cook top. Bedroom 4 has no closet which is typical for a home this period. Large upstairs sitting area would be perfect for an office. Great location as its close to I85, and 2 blocks from Salisbury's thriving downtown, with excellent restaurants, award winning theater two breweries and great shopping.

"Great area! Iโ€™ve lived here for 5 years and never had any problems. Shopping is great and love the fact the I can go right down the street to work out at the YMCA and that Iโ€™m 5 mins always from my job. Thatโ€™s the reason why I moved to Salisbury "
  • Deshonnasabb
"Everyone seems to want to help everyone... true definitely of no one left behind outside of the school system... thereโ€™s still the not so friendly people but those who genuinely care, care and you will know and feel the love!"
  • Htucker0109
"my neighborhood is not a safe place. you do not want to be out after dark alone or being a female. I do not send my son to school around here either for the schools aren't safe."
  • Muquan Kennedy
"Very decent place to live. Multiple parks for the kids, and a decent amount of activities for adults. "
