The owners of the property had associations with the Lanzetti gang, who operated in New Jersey and South Philadelphia. They were also associated later on with Philadelphia Mafia boss Salvatore Sabella from Western Sicily, and later on with Angelo Bruno. Visitors with past Mob connections and neighbors always ask, "Did you find anything here?"
The property is accessed by a 600-foot private road and features more than 2 miles of logging trails that are perfect for walking, running, horseback riding, and quad driving. There are many large fieldstone walls throughout left by the farmers who historically lived on the land. There is a swimming pond fed by pristine water from both a nearby artesian well and underground springs within the pond itself. There is also room behind this pond for a potential 4 to 6 acre fishing pond.
