4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI recently graduated from Frederick High School. I loved it! I wouldn't want to change my high school experience at all. All the students take great pride in attending Frederick High. The amount of school spirit is amazing. The school is super diverse which I love. It really does prepare us for the real world. The physical school isn't too great but there are plans for a brand new building. Im going into college with 30 credits because of all the AP courses I took. There are a wide variety of courses to choose from and the teachers are great. The teachers do a great job at preparing the students for the tests and more. They want us to be ready for college and to do so, they challenge the students. The only concern is, there isn't a great amount of support for IEP students. She feels comfortable going to anyone in administration. The teachers CARE so much about the students. In the classes where my daughter excels, the teachers find additional work for her to stay busy. She has 2 teachers she doesn't like as much, but yet those teachers are still wonderful with her. The school has a lot of issues with bullying and fights BUT the administration is on top of it that things do not escalate. I couldn't be happier with the teachers and administration at this school. It's been an extremely positive experience for my daughter from an educational experience.Parent Review12y ago
