9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love Bay High School. It provides excellent music programs with an especially high acheiving choir and band program. Teachers really do care about their students and want to see them learn and grow. The math department is very difficult in honors courses but beneficial and at a higher level than other schools private or public. The teachers provide a challenging curriculum that let students achieve their best. Teachers invest time in students and when students struggle they want to help and care for them. The kids attending have plenty of opportunities to participate in extra curriculars. One may do very prestigious clubs or join various sports teams. Everyone I know is so nice and supportive. They are very stodgy and not following the latest research on education.They do not act swiftly and with flexibility to address the needs of those with special education plans. "I've lived in Bay Village for almost 15 years. It's a wonderful community with a Metropark, lots of trees and a beach. We have top rated schools all levels. It is safe enough to walk at any time of these day. Only downside is high real estate taxes because we have no industry and few commercial businesses. No other downsides. "

"People are put all the time. But some shady stuff can occur too. Plus is a suburb where the bulk of its population is getting ready to go to nursing homes and assisted living facilities, meaning a huge surplus of homes for sale could lead to a drop in property values. "
