Here at Myers, we are committed to providing the most meaningful educational experience possible for our kids. Our goal is to enable students to understand the world around them and the talents within them so that they can become fulfilled individuals and active, compassionate citizens. Myers Elementary School offers a rigorous curriculum for grades K-5. Our focus in teaching, learning and assessing is to be innovative. We are working hard at creating learning opportunities that enable our kids to grow their natural sense of curiosity and creativity. We want our kids to reason rather than memorize, and we want them to discover learning through collaboration and conversation; rather than through us simply giving them the information. Here at Myers we believe it is important to BE NICE, WORK HARD, and NOT TAKE SHORTCUTS. We want our kids to develop GRIT (the ability to see things to the end and get up and go after it even when they are knocked down.) We believe that if our kids are nice, work hard, show grit, and "put in the work," then they will have a far better chance to live a fulfilled life and be active, compassionate citizens NOW and FOR LIFE.Myers Elementary School is committed to providing the best educational experience for all of our students. Kristina Rojanos has a crazy mother and it is affecting her work.

William Fegely Middle School is a horrible place to send your kids to. I got suspended for something I didn’t do and the principal said “These are our straight a students they wouldn’t lie to us. I’ve been on A-B honor roll since I’ve started school never gotten an F on my report card but these kids were also white. The special education teachers yell at the students and if they don’t behave they put them in this room with no windows and leave them in there. The school also doesn’t celebrate black history or any other month. They only celebrate Hispanic heritage month and Irish heritage month. That’s it. The only good at the school is the teachers they care about the students and how they are taught. The teachers are better guidance counselors than the actual guidance counselors. The guidance counselors also don’t care your child getting bullied because if you ask to go to the office they will send to the guidance counselors office. In that office you will get gaslight to their hearts content. You wrote a report about a student bullying you and your black they will get back to you in 5-10 business days or not at all. If your white or Mexican might as well go down there yourself cause they will help you out in a jiffy. I wrote a as a black woman (god forbid) report I got called down three days later and guess what the kids didn’t get in any trouble. But when I stand up to a bully who made fun of my clothes my hair my pearls that my grandfather gave me before he died I get into trouble I get sent down to the office on a Friday 5 minutes before dismissal. Mind you they didn’t call him down because it’s too late to call him down he’s the one who wrote the report but they called me down. He got talked to in the cafeteria with his friends near by backing him up. I was in a room with a woman I don’t trust with no windows but he gets to talk to her with his friends. He also made fun of me for not knowing if I had slaves in my family and asked my why don’t you know that. I told the guidance counselor that and she said I couldn’t say he was a waste of space. DON’T SEND TOUR KIDS HERE IF YOU DON’T THEM TO BE DEPRESSED!
