"My kids were grown when we moved here so I’m not intimately familiar with considerations for children… there are a few streets where traffic is heavy and fast, as well as a few open canals that could be dangerous. I would be very cognizant of these hazards if I had small children and I was looking for a home—find the smaller/quieter streets that are near the open spaces. "
  • Trulia User
"No comment, I work from home. Access to I-84 via vista and Downtown via capitol is quite good though. "
  • Marilyn M.
"A long-time friend has lived here many years. I’ve always enjoyed visiting the area. Enjoy the feeling of community."
  • Trulia User
"Easy and fast. Close to everything in town! 6 minutes from the airport, 6 minutes from Boise State, 7 minutes from Downtown. Grocery stores just minutes away. "
  • Juliannebrobinson
"The trees make the neighborhood feel like it’s straight out of a movie or book. The people are kind and friendly and it feels like home. "
  • Marthapalma61
"Living on the bench for 10 years. 4 minutes from downtown. 5 minutes from BSU. 6 minutes from the zoo. 8 minutes from the airport. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating."
  • Tara B.
"This location is close to everything. Minutes from the airport, freeway, shopping and downtown. I can find everything I need within a few miles of my home. Traffic is almost nonexistent. "
  • Amy W.
"I have lived on the Bench for over 15 years. The neighbors are friendly and the location is perfect!"
  • clmackness
"I live in this area because of the proximity to BSU, Shopping, Nightlife, and Restaurants. There are some really cute areas on the Depot Bench. Lots of older homes are being bought by open-minded, artistic types of people. 5 min walk to BSU, 5 min bike ride to downtown. Love it!"
