"It’s gross to walk your dog in filth but sausal creek has two to four neighborhoods and as someone who walks a lot I’ve learned that my neighborhood is pretty much the worst in the area! There’s a lot of trash and waste on the sidewalks. Also there was a sinkhole on the side of the street on 28th and it took over 8 months to block off and fill. My packages get stolen and I have been harassed by strangers while commuting by foot. This neighborhood kinda sucks a lot and it’s obvious if you’ve ever been here!"

"I bought my place 10 years ago, lived there 5 years; kept it as a rental after getting married. Know all my neighbors, even since moving. Everyone is either young families or old school neighborhood people. Everyone watches out for each other."

"I work around that area. It is considered low crime area and people are very quiet and peaceful. Pizza Hut and other small restaurants in the nearby area. Fruitvale district is one of the best areas in Oakland, CA"
