I have never left a bad review in my life, but the complete lack of accountability and communication from this school has pushed me to this point.Before summer break, my then 8-year-old daughter was CHOKED on the school bus. I immediately contacted both the school and transportation. The principal told me she was waiting for the bus footage and would contact me once she received it.Weeks passed. Nothing.I followed up and was told the same thing. More weeks passed. Still nothing. I reached out yet again and was told my message would be passed along and that the principal would contact me. She never did.Summer came and went. At the beginning of this school year, I attended a parent-teacher meeting and spoke directly with the front office. I explained that despite multiple attempts of following up, I had still never received a response regarding my child being choked on the bus. I was assured the principal would call me by the end of that day.She didn’t.School has now been back in session for two weeks, and I have heard absolutely nothing.At this point, this is no longer a simple oversight or a missed phone call. I have made repeated attempts to get answers about an incident involving my child, and every single promised follow-up has gone nowhere.And now, my 9-year-old is already coming home telling me that older students are cussing her out on the bus. I will reach out to the school again, but there’s a 99.999% chance nothing will be done. I am BEYOND angry. Parents should not have to beg for communication. Saying “we’ll get back to you” means absolutely nothing when no one ever actually does.My daughter deserves to feel safe going to school and riding the bus, and parents deserve more than silence when they raise a concern. Maybe they will take it seriously when they get a lawsuit.
