What Locals Say about Abell

  • Andrew D.
"Nice people they Security OFFICERS standing on the corner. Nice clean area and patrol cars rides around "
  • Andrew C.
"There are a decent amount of families with children living on Abell and many of the events in the neighborhood, including those at the local brewery, have that in mind. The local public school is still wrestling with decades of disinvestment, but there are groups committed to making it a better school for all children."
  • Andrew C.
"Abell is a beautiful and charming 4-block stretch on the edge of Charles Village. Not being a major thru street makes Abell ideal for kids to play. The annual Abell Street Fair, Summer Movie Series, year-round Waverly Farmers Market and Peabody Heights Brewery are only a few of the great reasons to enjoy Abell."
  • Cembrey77
"There are so many young families in the neighborhood. The kids all go out front in nice weather and run up and down the block, do chalk, etc. There are several playgrounds we can walk to and it’s always fun to go to the sculpture garden at the BMA. There is a free activity for young children that we can walk to just about every day...storytime and mother goose at the library, music for babies and toddlers at the barclay rec, activities at the VLP, etc."
  • Liz M.
"Proximity to farmers market, easy access to Hopkins and restaurants on Saint Paul Street. Annual street fair."
