7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers here don't care about the students. Some won't work with students after school if they need help. Don't expect them to be available during academic hour either; they all just disappear. Additionally, they won't answer emails from students at all. I've witnessed this several times; my kid would send an email to the teacher and never receive a response. This doesn't happen with just one teacher but with multiple teachers. When I reached out to one of the teacher about answering my child's email, she called out my child in class about it. There is a big push to put kids in AP courses to help increase the schools statics on students in AP courses. The school sent out an email stating just that! Even if your kid is struggling in AP courses, they want them in the AP courses to fluff their numbers. Independence was great, they cared about the students. LJS, they could careless. Even as a parent reaching out to teachers at LJS via email it was hit or miss on getting a response.Parent Review2y ago2 Reviews - Liberty Early Childhood School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in first grade at Liberty. The vocabulary she's learning are the same words she had in Pre-K in New York, and she tells me constantly that she is bored in class. I wish they let the kids learn at their own pace, rather than trying to keep the entire class at the same level. I spoke with the teacher, but she said there was nothing she could do to provide my child with more challenging work. I'm not sure if all the teachers have that type of attitude about learning, but I was not impressed. Aside from that situation, the school is nice. They are pretty good about keeping the building secure, which is important. It is an adorable old building, but has been refurbished and the classrooms are nice.Parent Review11y ago4 Reviews - Woodland Elementary School

"To many stray cats and loose dogs. People don’t control their dogs behavior , dogs need to be on a leash no matter what "

"It’s Middletown - 30 minutes to get anywhere. But close to highways, it’s just where the city falls between more industrious areas."

"Lots of foot traffic, crime. It doesn’t feel safe to go outside at night. Especially by yourself. Packages are frequently stolen and/or delivered to the wrong place. "

"I have lived in this neighborhood for almost 2 years very convenient lots of stores around and I’m right in the heart of everything I just wish public transportation was a little better in school. Districk was better as well. I would choose to have more restaurants family are near."

"Owners need to clean up after their own dogs. Make sure that their dogs are on a leash when walking them. Owners are able to control them. If in their yard, they need chained up or fenced in. But can't reach out of their yard. All basic animal etiquette we have learned all our life. You are responsible fir your animal."

"butler county has always been good in my opinion about building a great community. Middletown has its pros and cons like any other community. We have lived here for 5 years now and we love it, we have gotten to know our neighbors and we have lots of family that lives close by. We look out for one another and take pride in our properties and community. I'm glad we came."
