N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI came to the Wootton cluster after lots of harassment at my old school, and Wootton is much better in that area! Unrelatedly, the school is incredibly competitive and pushes kids to take too many hard classes; this year I am in four APs. There is not much actual learning but instead a huge amount of memorization and many quizzes and tests.Student Review1y ago - Stone Mill Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are good, but it is a rigorous and a competitive environment. It is not easy to fit in if you are new. There is limited assistance if the student is experiencing social challenges. Unfortunately I have found the counselor unhelpful in resolving any issues. We moved to the area for this school and it has been disappointing so far.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 3 Chinkapin Ct.

"My family lived at 511 Crabb Ave. They bought it the summer of 1954. It was 2 beds with one bath. We had a lot of fun with all the kids on our street. There was a neighborhood elementary school, Maryvale, we walked 2 blocks to the school and in good weather walked home for lunch. I attended Richard Montgomery High School. The metro did not exist at that time. "

"This neighborhood is definitely a very dog friendly place! While I don’t personally have a dog, I see at least 20 dogs go by outside my window every day walking down to Welsh Park. There is a large open field where dogs can run around so many people bring them there. It is also just a neighborhood where a lot of people walk around because there are paths and things like that in Welsh Park as well. "
