  • M_vanderkarr
"5 min drive to office with minimum of traffic. School bus may delay 2-5 min. Community isn’t big enough to have major traffic issues. "
  • Tammie K.
"There aren’t a lot of families living here full time. Most homes are vacation homes for second home owners or are rented as vacation homes on a monthly basis."
  • Carollewis5
"No commute. Retired. I am glad there is respect for pedestrians here. I walk a lot. It is a great walking community. "
  • Carollewis5
"Lovely small homes. Walking community. Beach. Lots of trees. Great weather and wonderful hikes nearby. Yoga center and art gallleries. "
  • Shelley_nance
"It’s quite the neighbors are friendly but keep to themselves you see things you won’t see in most neighborhoods"
  • Itsmandab
"There are wild animals that walk freely in the area. it's usually really dark at night since there aren't many street lights, so you need a flash light. it's a beautiful, pet friendly area. "
  • Surspa
"It is the first neighborhood I’ve ever lived in that every neighbor keeps to themselves! No one comes out to say hello—they just scurry into the house, avoid eye contact when smiled at in close proximity, & they peek at anyone outdoors as if they are a zombie looking for your next victim... very peculiar, when FUN is a crime, & silent ghost street is what it feels like to go out for a walk. Eerie"
  • Terrencehack77
"I drive It’s not burdensome I enjoy driving to work. The traffic is relatively light in the morning "
  • Surspa
"Carmel Woods is set high enough above sea level that I can see peeks of the ocean at carmel beach. The trees are hundreds of feet TALL, & pruned to be bare, stripped of mud-length branches—prehistoric in appearance. The neighbors are all isolated and hardly social. I have never gotten beyond small talk in the 3 yrs of living here. Pollen is extremely allergenic, even in me, who is not allergic. Quiet street, to a fault. "
  • Lunabluclothing
"I love the valley it’s always sunny it’s in nature and not too close to town but still not too far away friendly people enough privacy"
  • pat d.
"I have family who lived in this area. Always beautiful, quiet and perfect for golfers."
