The student population is fairly small which means everyone knows everyone. We originally enrolled her in Private School due to the same concerns the parent below reported. We heard about the New Principal and also the change in environment because. of. the two schools coming together. We had the opportunity to meet and talk to the New Principal and he truly is and has been amazing for our School. He has really shown tremendous leadership and support to the kids , teachers and parents. He's creating a positive culture! This School's energy is completely different from what I experienced during the Open House earlier this year. This is not PDMSS anymore, this is now MALIBU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL and it has tremendous heart and so many. great programs being lead by the teachers. My daughter is already identifying sight words and working. out word math problems. She loves her teacher and her environment. The School is only as good as the community it's in. PARENTS, TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATION. If all can work together there is no stopping greatness. I am experiencing that first hand and for rude children, I have not experienced that.
