    About this House

This parcel is located in Clare County approximately 10 miles north of Clare. It offers easy access from US 127 and is only 5 minutes from the expressway. This parcel has been in the Hamlin family for over 100 years. During the logging boom in the late 1800's the small town of Hatton was located in the southwest corner of the property where 2 narrow gauge railroads intersected. When the logging boom came to an end the town disappeared and the ranch was run as a sheep farm until 1930. The property has been managed for wildlife since 1952. With 40 miles of trails, 30 hunting blinds, 200 acres of food plots and QDM for the past 15 years this property is ready to hunt. Deer, Bear, Turkey and Grouse are all present in good numbers. The adjacent landowner to the south have 3,600 acres that has been intensively managed for 30 years. A 1,000 sq. ft. rustic cabin and a 750 sq. ft. bunk house are situated overlooking a 50 acre alfalfa field. Brokered And Advertised By: Wildlife Realty Listing Agent: Doug Leitch
