Robert F. Kennedy High School is one of the best high schools. So far, the test scores have been really good. The band and colorguard is performing great. They have won 1st places in its first year out. Way to go RFKHS!

I was a student in the entire district and so were my siblings our entire schooling was received here. I have managed to become a private school administrator and my little brother has become a Nuclear Engineer. The teachers there were always empathetic to our situation of living in a small town. They tried their best to instill knowledge and understanding of the material being taught. I have nothing but great memories of this school and their teachers were wonderful.

My daughter went to this school for a year and I always had a few issues with it. For one, they only have a curriculum that has all the students taking eld classes instead of regular English. As my child only speaks English, I thought this was a waste of her time; she doesn't need English language development when it is her only language. I'm aware the school is lacking funding, but only catering to the majority of the student body forces other children like my daughter, to become stagnant. The other issue, is that is she was constantly picked on by other students, and, while the school maintains a no bullying policy, they did little to enforce the policy. Lastly, their parking area shares front yards with some of the homes. This worried me because they never lock their gates. There was more than one incident when my daughter would come home and tell me how they were forced to stay in the classrooms because someone, other than an employee, was walking around campus. Maybe I'm just being persnickety, but this school leaves much to be desired. However, they get two stars because she had a great teacher and I believe their trying their best with what they have.
