The quality of learning they have been receiving has been excellent. The teachers are caring and committed to their students. The principal and the rest of the staff are helpful and friendly. I find them to be professional yet approachable. As a parent I appreciate that aspect, as I feel comfortable communicating with them. Should I have any questions or concerns I know they will be glad to assist me in any way they can. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI taught here and the environment inside and outside of school made me feel as though I didn't know how to do my job. Who's to blame? Give teachers the option to transfer to a school that doesn't stress you out as much as Maya, for the same pay, and you'll see why there's a revolving door / high turnover rate. Especially since teacher income is based on student performance. Teachers at the school will be effective if their students were starting the education race from the same starting line as those schools in better areas.
