"The commute is decent. Not extremely hard to get to major highways and very little traffic. The only thing I would complain about is the upkeep of the roads in clinton. They are pretty rough and bumpy."

"they would love the fact that they can walk the dogs all around the reservoir and the clinton dam but might not really like having to walk up all of the monster hills around here"

"Nice parks and outdoor areas. Need more safe sidewalks and lighting put in for safer strolling. No universal PreK programs in this area which is hard on working parents with young kids."

"Clinton is unique in that each neighborhood is a bit different from the last. It has a true town feel and it’s a great place to live and retreat to should you work in the city. The people are generally friendly though most stay to themselves. There seems to be lots of uncharted grassy areas which is a hiker’s dream. Most things are within walking distance though most that live here have some form of transportation. The only challenges I’ve seen have to do with extreme weather. Being a town-like area, I wonder what emergency services are like and their response times; though my family and I haven’t needed them in our 3+ years living here. Being close to other towns like Lancaster don’t hurt at all as Clinton seems to be evolving into a real estate agent’s dream. I’m not sure what this place was like before but for sale signs are popping up almost everywhere nowadays. While my neighbors may not know me personally, they’ve seen me enough to know that I’m a neighbor of theirs. Should anything go wrong, I know they’d reach out to help. "

"clinton is a small town, yes, lots of bars however pharmacys to. there is plenty of irish decent in this town. clinton years ago was economicaly well. unfortunately, lots of businesses sold out to foreign companies and closed. however, people in the town are very friendly ! there is 2 supermarkets shaws and hannafords. plenty of pharmacies, bars and theres even mcdonalds there. 2 dunkin donuts, a stste pool open for free swim in the summer. gas stations, churches etc.. even fishing in the local ponds. and yes, the dam! the walk way is closed however, the view is awsome. they also have a wheetbix company there. mmmm the smell of the cereal being made cant be beat. yes, its a dead town however, whats there is really all u need. i lived there many years as a child and young adult. trying to get back with many prayers. i would recommend this town to families and retirees along with young couples starting out. if ur single good luck finding a mate lol i would recommend a great resturant "old timmers" for either a drink or great dinner! great food, atmosphere , and priced right.whats nice is its family owned for years in the town. schools are good all public no private schools.
