Kids come to school to learn. The Principal of this school has not supported our community with academics. Our children have very low reading levels and do not receive the support they need. I found that most students are significantly behind in core subject areas. Every day, students have a "walk to read block. Many students are reading texts well below their reading level and are not challenged. I wonder if this would happen at a predominantly white school? I think not. Where is the accountability? The Principal has stated that the school is doing well. I disagree.

"public transportation is really good....lot of shootings and gang banging as well as burglaries but that's at night...in the day time it's nice and quiet but long as you're indoors and your car is secure it's not that bad"

"during the holidays New Year's Eve and Fourth of July the fireworks are a big thing over here we always have to put our dogs in the house. down the street is a fire department so the Sirens from the fire truck and also police cars can real up the dogs in the neighborhood"

"I've lived in this area for over 15 years. I like that the freeways and light rails are close. I love my neighbors and we watch out for each other! Parks are walking distance away and they have a seasonal farmers market! I love the fact that I am kind of in the middle of the areas I frequent the most!"
