Every school in Chula Vista has massive traffic congestion. Nothing is being done to address this. Instead, students are being punished by getting late slips and being forced to pick up trash. Overall, the Chula Vista school systems are terrible past the elementary level. Do not send your kids. The school demands complete compliance by letter of the law; however, if your child has an issue they do not care. They do not respond to calls or emails. In the area we live we pay thousands of dollars in Mello Roos. Plus, the district gets funding for attendance. Someone is running this district like a cost cutting project instead of an investment into our children. I hope that at least one person reads this and changes their mind about the substandard public service offered by Chula Vista schools.

Over the past four years, I’ve seen a noticeable decline in the environment at Olympian High School. The surrounding area has changed significantly due to rapid housing development, and with it, there’s been a rise in disruptive behavior. On multiple occasions, I’ve observed students loitering near elementary schools during school hours, engaging in activities such as smoking and using inappropriate language, with little concern for supervision.As someone who has lived in various parts of San Diego, I’ve seen the difference a safe, focused school environment can make. Unfortunately, Olympian no longer offers the same sense of security and academic focus it once did.If your priority is a learning environment that emphasizes safety, discipline, and strong academic culture, I would suggest researching other schools before making your decision.

Does not take bulling seriously no matter how much you beg for help. Which effect the child’s ability to learn and gain confidence.
