About this House

Relax in a cozy, custom-built studio with a feel of a treehouse given the sleeping loft upstairs. Views into olive trees, tall green bushes, blue skies, and a sliver of the islands. Ambient daytime light with warm sunset colors that fill the studio before dusk. Located in the foothills of a peaceful Mission Canyon neighborhood. Vaulted ceiling and Cathedral windows give the studio a feeling of expansiveness.

The studio is attached to larger home but enjoys a very private feel as it is on the far side of the large property. New electric stove and microwave with small refrigerator, and a wooden countertop make for a quaint kitchen. Navy blue curtains allow for ability to adjust for daytime sleeping if needed.

All utilities are included (water, electricity, wifi and trash). Small, private patio surrounded by greenery. Washing machine and line drying are outside on patio. New mini split provides both ambient AC and heat.

Plenty of street parking along our rock wall or tall green bushes.

We are looking for a quiet individual who enjoys her/his/their solitude and time for creativity or quiet work at home. No couples please. Sorry, no pets or smoking inside or out. Minutes away from downtown, museums, beaches, hiking trails and cafes. Longterm tenant is preferred.

Cat lover is a plus.

Must be able to walk short steep driveway and 9 steps up to loft.

A place for rejuvenation!

Studio is available in July but is not available for tours at this time.
