    "Quiet and peaceful "
  • Amy Larsen
"Homes with loose off-leash dogs are the only real issue. I have 4 dogs. This is a neighborhood of houses with yards, so fenced backyards seem standard. There are dog-friendlier neighborhoods, but this isn’t bad. "
  • Jazmyne Gomez
"There are coyotes in the area. Also occasionally skunks. There are often others walking their dogs in the evenings though so it feels safer "
  • Brandy Marie Outen
"Very diverse community. The City is doing a lot of upgrades to public spaces and adding more housing. "
  • Dan Gilliland
"Be careful driving or walking on the pedestrian, many people here crazy speed up and no more rules on the street "
  • Yvergaracantillo
"Hi neighbors! I hope everyone is having a great day. It’s a pleasure to greet you and share this space with "
  • Jennifer Bailey
"All holidays are welcomed in the community. It feels like home just being able to share it with family and friends. "
  • Rita Alba
"Lived here for the past 5 years ! Great neighborhood , great neighbors everyone looks out for each other. "

"This neighborhood is special because there’s not a lot going on. It’s a nice peaceful neighborhood. "
  • Ejensen930
"Carson is a convenient location because it’s close to multiple freeways. I drive a lot for work so that is important."
  • Ajyf1999
"Depending on the street, traffic gets congested at some points. There are a lot of schools in my area so that’s also a key factor in planning for your commute as well. Lastly I’d also like to point out that Carson street has only two lanes and when a bus pulls over it often cause a lot of congestion. "
  • Livs27
"Street traffic gets slow during rush hours. The freeway is nearby, so it’s easy to get to downtown. The public transport to downtown is reasonable."
  • Phillip Scott Iii
"I think the people Of Carson truly care about this neighborhood and do the best they can to keep it clean and well maintained. Neighbors are easy-going and easy to develop relationships with. Overall there’s a lot of care in Carson."
  • Penina_pasefika
"Carson is centrally located to both LAX and Long Beach airports. My work commute is 15 minutes on the 405 and 710 freeway into Downtown Long Beach. 110 freeway also intersects the City of Carson, as a main thoroughfare into Downtown LA. "
  • Eve
"Small neighborhood events like Toy Drive during Holidays or Easter egg hunt. The City also prepare small events for all every holiday. "
  • Bennyraysmith.3
"Cars have broken into and stolen within the last two months in my neighborhood. I would suggest having cameras installed outside of your home or business."
  • Trulia User
"I have to drive to get anywhere. Big streets which allow for easy flow of traffic. Few people commute on bus/walking. "
  • Liz
"Not a fan of the area, but the drive to the beach is very short and rent is quite low here so those are the pluses. "
  • Glenn A. J.
"I have like a 15 minute commute to work. I take surface streets, but there is freeway access the 91, 110, & 405 from Carson."
  • Carolynashley54
