This newly renovated and fully furnished property is the lower level of my home, located in the quiet and safe neighborhood of Maxwell Park in Oakland, California.

The large, sunny kitchen has a brand new stove, hood and sink. There are two well-appointed rooms--a bedroom with a double bed, and a second room that can be used as a study or living room, with couch and desk.

A washer and dryer are located in the basement right off of the apartment and are for your exclusive use. There is also a large area for storage in the same room.

Most of the artwork in the apartment is by local Oakland artists.

I have a large garden and grow lots of succulents, flowers and am starting to get into growing food as well! You are welcome to a garden bed if you'd like to play in the dirt a bit!

I am a musician and teach during the day, so it would be best if you worked the day shift.

I have lived here for over 30 years and I love the neighborhood. Its very hilly, which is great for walks!

No pets.

No smoking.

Off street parking.

This apartment is perfect for traveling nurses and doctors. One month minimum stay, but longer is great!

    "This is a beautiful, clean, green community with surprisingly tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. People are very nice and the community has a very nice sense of care, with a lot of smiles and greetings yet privacy respected. There are not many commercials nearby or within the area but it is the very reason why this mild hilly community is so exclusively special. Shops, parks, entertainments, business, city center are all in proximity. This neighborhood is a hidden gem of Oakland and I love it!"
