It’s tight knit but big enough to explore and have a new experience not far from home at any given time. People are friendly and the small businesses are great and yes of course there is big chains when you need them. Bike trails that leads to the beach (Doheny is closest), mountain bike and hiking trails in the hills nearby, short drive to surf Salt Creek, San Clemente, Trestles, etc. 10 degrees cooler than Mission Viejo because of the ocean breeze!"
