"Dog owners would enjoy that there is a lot of sidewalks to walk on so it’s very safe. As long as they are on a leash everything minds their own business. It’s very pet friendly. "
  • Trulia User
"I’ve lived on the Eastside of Richmond since 2017 and it just feels really safe. My kids and I have never felt unsafe. We love taking night walks everyone looks out for each other and it’s close to everything!!"

"Very quite and clean,. The neighbors are nice but not in your business. It’s really close to the grocery store the gas station and everything that I need is close. I don’t know what event would make my neighborhood specialMaybe and neighborhood bonfire we can roast some weenies and marshmallows. I believe everyone should get to know their neighbors in case we need them for each other."
  • Chad_a_barrett
"The neighborhood is very quite and the neighbors are friendly. Earlham college is right across the street so if you like talking walks there are plenty of trails in the woods and the campus is a pretty nice place to take a stroll. If you love birds we have all kinds of woodpeckers, finches, cardinals and hummingbirds."
  • Deborah W.
"I see my neighbors walking their dogs all the time. All the yards are generous in size giving them plenty of room to play."
  • Ash.efda
"Maybe don't let your children walk around alone outside. Anywhere. I mean like aged 15 and under. Don't let them roam free. "
  • Brianna P.
"I actually don’t see many people walk their dogs. But there is a lot of little animals such as squirrels that they may want to chase."
  • Brianna P.
"Everyone pretty much minds their own business and still friendly. But still not close enough to borrow some sugar lol it’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part! :)"
  • Constancejhenry

Earlham college has events monthly for the community to attend and enjoy. We have lots of antique shops and plenty of shopping near by. And many different restaurants in the area."

"The area of Richmond I live in, around Earlham, is very pleasant to walk in and has a lot of nice trees. Thankfully we have a grocery store nearby, but it is practically the only one on this side of town. "
  • Juliet S.
"It’s right by the college so there are a lot of young people around all the time. It can get loud on weekends, but it’s still okay. The trees are really beautiful and it’s nice to be by the college campus because the green space is nice. "
