"We have lived in Tifton for almost 30 years. The residents are very friendly, and there are lots of activities sponsored by local churches, ABAC, the local YMCA, and public schools. We enjoy a variety of restaurants and fast-food dining as well. We love Tifton and are proud to call it our home."

"I love my house but sometimes the neighbors can be loud. Two have loud motors and come and go often. Others have kids that run unattended and dangerously in the road. "

"Tifton is an upcoming area while keeping the small southern charm with extremely nice people. You have the young graduated learning about life, the young new parents, and also older adults with kids off to do their own. Usually one generation drives the other insane. In this town, everyone is not bothered by each other. The are all cordial and greeting. "

" This area in west Tifton is outstanding. The subdivision sits just over the I-75 bridge from the town's restaurants and shopping mall. There is a 'new' Publix grocery store as well as a TJ Max in the upgraded and revitalized Tifton Mall. This very quiet subdivision is very well taken care of by each home owner. Retsrictions are 2500 square feet. 505 Lakewood Drive is the residence of the family that owned all the acreage developed into these beautiful homes. This property along with four other lots border a large (30 +/- acre) lake. Only owners of property on the lake have water rights. Fishing, swimming, jet skiing, boating. This home has a boathouse and landscaped yard and gardens to enjoy wonderful views of the water. From the deck on the home or the gorgeous sun room overlooking the gardens and the lake the 2.5 acres is certainly the prime tract on the lake and in the Lakewood subdivision. This is a unique southern property and is waiting for the right family or retiring couple to call this home."
