Not only is it extremely overpopulated with students who do not behave in the slightest, the teachers do a terrible job of managing their behavior. We get legit screamed at by teachers everyday. Also, students do not care about their students learning. My current science, math, and social literacy teacher will assign an assignment with out explaining it at all. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school only cares about data and showing off. To the teachers and staff, if you are not in all honors or athletics then you are nothing. The teachers do not care, and no one cares about the old rickety high school. They just got all new buildings for the others schools while ceiling tiles have fallen on students at the high school. When it rains outside, it also rains on the upper floor of the school. The entire school system at Austintown does not care about bullying and does not care until physical fights start in the school building. Drugs are also rampant. "20 minute drive to most surrounding areas. Larger cities are 60-90 miles away. In addition the fact that we have access to public busses, taxi services and ride sharing is phenomenal "
