My child is in first grade and so far our experience with the Carlinville school system has been exceptional. My child has Asperger's and our kindergarten and first grade teachers have really gone above and beyond to give creative, individual instruction to keep my child engaged in learning and socializing. The personal results I witness in my child month-to-month re maturity, responsibility, self-control and self-esteem are incredible and I give our teachers and Special Ed. staff many kudos; Thank you!

"consolidated school district 4 towns together, good academics but limited sports some co-op with another school, music, no art program. enrollment increased about 30 this year. about 10 miles to Otter Lake recreational boating, skiing, fishing lake, about 45 sw of state capital Springfield, about 2 hours north of St. Louis. no shopping in area, Casey's General Store there. Farming community. "
