About this House

We are looking for someone who wants to live in a beautiful, restful private home, with great sun exposure. Our luxury home is located on five acres overlooking 9,000 acres of green belt and open meadow. Once you drive through the automatic driveway gate you feel like you are miles away from the city , when in fact you are very close to coffee shops, grocery market, hardware store and our local hospital. The home is within 10 miles from both College of the Redwoods and Cal-Poly University. Down town and old town Eureka along with Humboldt Bay are less than three miles away. There are ample biking and hiking trails close by. From the house you look down on a well maintained botanical garden, vegetable gardens and fruit trees. There are trails to walk in our very own private Redwood grove. This is virtually a new house built just six years ago. The house is fully furnished and ready to move into. This has a large bedroom and bathroom but it also has a media - guest room.
The rental agreement is month to month with a 30 day notification to discontinue occupancy. This is a no pet home.

We have solar panels on this house and software that tract daily usage of electricity. All utilities are paid for with the exception of if the tenant uses more PG&E than average, then Renter would be responsible to pay the overage. Only one renter has paid a overage fee in the past six years. There is a 120 volt outside outlet that could be used for a EV but that would increase the electric bills beyond the average and Tenant would be responsible for the overage. Water, Sewage, Garbage and recycling pickup are covered by Landlord. Internet service is covered by Landlord. The duration is month to month where either Tenant or Landlord can give 30 day notice. There is a $200 nonrefundable cleaning fee paid at time of occupancy.
