"it's a nice place for vacation the glitz and rose colored glasses come off after you live here full-time though. don't get me wrong it's nice to be in a small community where people like to help one another, everyone knows everyone, generally friendly, and it's nice to be away from the city. but everyone knows everyone's business, there is literally nothing better to do up here than gossip and spread rumors. if you're young there's nothing here. we have 1 bar, 1 restaurant, 1 gas station and a family dollar. there is a rec center but you have to pay a yearly fee. oh and there is a library but only open Tues. Thurs and sat from 10-3. if you like outdoorsy activities then it's great plus beautiful scenery."

"it's quite & far away from just about everything We do have have 2 restaurants & a Family dollar store which helps for little things instead,, of 60 miles to Kingman! there's a pool & little gas station post office!! So it's growing but hopefully not too much!!"
  • Pk1951
"we have lived here 3 years this month. If you like quite living this is the place. They do have a little more here than when we 1st moved here If you like the hot weather then this is the place too. Not far from Colorado River & the Skywalk turn off. But 60 miles to Kingman AZ & that's the nearest town for Doctors hospital Walmart Safeway everything is in Kingman"
