Gretna elementary school is the worst school I have ever seen. I homeschool all 5 of my kids because the school are so bad. The teachers there don’t want to teach and they are very mean to kids. They won’t respect your kids. They do nothing to help them learn. My son was in 4th grade and could t read. I took him out of school and now he can read. If you want your kids to have healthy learning, don’t send them to Gretna elementary school in Gretna va.

I went here and this school is awful. The principals do not care about the students getting bullied or drama and they watch them fight physically. Their special education program is amazing. These teachers have been very mean and make smart comments to the students. I was bullied at gretna middle and everytime I asked staff for help they did nothing about it, I was bullied until the day I left for high school and they do not discipline their students that do the bullying enough. If i were you i would not bring your child here to learn education.

Extreme focus on sports ( a county wide issue) which effects discipline during athletic season. Focus on core subjects and they do not care as much about the arts. It has improved greatly in the last 5 years due to new administrative leadership.
