About this House

273 State Street is a fantastic four

story, modern, bright townhouse with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and

very large light-filled spaces for entertaining. The home was built in 2005 and has been lovingly maintained and has also received some wonderful

updates. It has approximately 3,000 square feet of space (not including the basement) and an open and modern floor plan for easy living. There is a dramatic double-height window on the north side (20 feet high) of the home which floods the interior with light, making the home a dream

Entering through the garden level, there is a stone floor entrance and a spacious California

closet, a full bathroom and south-facing guest room. Most of this garden level is

devoted to the amazingly huge kitchen, a brand new six burner Wolf range, along with a

tremendous amount of storage. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining room faces the garden with a

double height wall of glass. Sliding glass doors connect the

landscaped backyard with the kitchen and dining room for outdoor dining and entertaining. There is also a Weber grill already connected.

Upstairs, is the parlor floor which is a gracious, open space with two seating areas, a wood

burning fireplace, and a glass railing overlooking the dining room below and garden. Hanging above is a custom glass chandelier.

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite) and a large laundry area are on the third floor with brand new Electolux washer and dryer. All

bedrooms occupy either the south or north end of the home, with a bright wall of windows

across the width of the house. The master suite occupies the fourth floor, and has a

dressing area and closets which are all customized for maximum storage. The bedroom leads to the master bath, with its

deep soaking tub and double vanity and Carrara marble throughout. Also on this floor, there is a

large terrace offering fantastic outdoor entertainment space.

The basement, with nearly 9-foot ceilings, while unfinished, could be an incredibly functional

space, for a media room , extra bedroom space for overflow guests, built-in storage, and

perhaps a separate home gym. The possibilities truly are endless.

This block of State Street is a convenient location, near all major subway

lines at Borough Hall and Jay Street/Metrotech, wonderful restaurants and shops, BAM and so much more.

Either make an appointment or come to the Open House because it's time to make this house, your

home!
