This is a fully furnished winter rental. Only a 5-minute drive from Boothbay Harbor, with a large yard, set back from the road. A 45-minute drive to Brunswick, and a little over an hour's drive to Portland. Come live in this beautiful, private, one-of-a-kind 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath fully renovated "Saltbox" home.

This home was fully rebuilt in 2021 but still features the original masonry and saltbox construction to keep the character. The first floor is compact but is bright, open, and comfortable with a room for dining and living. There is a master bedroom on the first floor and two full bathrooms. This house has a newly renovated kitchen and a laundry room with a washer and dryer for use. The upstairs includes a half bath, a bedroom with twin beds, and a queen size bed in the second bedroom.

Available November 1st - May 31st. Flexible move-in date.

The first month's rent and security deposit are due upon signing. Must be comfortable walking up stairs, as there are multiple stairs to enter the home.

Wifi Included. Tenant is responsible for electricity, propane, snow removal trash removal.

Dogs permitted (1 max) 200$ pet fee, no cats allowed.

No smoking allowed, no extra storage, or furniture to be brought in.

    "I've vacationed here several times in the past 35 years and also know a family who lives here. It is quite a safe area with a unique charm. Traffic can get heavy during tourist season, but it's usually fairly manageable. It close enough to some larger cities so you don't feel completely disconnected. "

    "My family vacationed here and stayed in a local house. The area if very family oriented, and seems quite safe. You can walk to a local store and a mall and supermarket are about a 5 minute drive. There are several parks within 20-30 minutes away, and even more within an hours drive. Boothbay Harbor is only about 10-15 minutes away by car. Everyone we met was friendly and more than willing to help out."

    "I am a summer owner with a cottage on Lake Knickerbocker less than a mile from salt water in Boothbay, ME. As a retiree who has spent time in the area each summer for over 50 years and now enjoys over 3 months each summer, I can attest to the attractive vacation atmosphere and small-town life. Because it is a highly desirable and busy summer vacation destination on the Maine coast, dining and summer recreation opportunities are outstanding. In addition, with a large 12-month retiree community, the YMCA and school system activities provide a wide array of fall, winter, and spring arts and athletic opportunities enjoyed by all ages. An active Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club and outstanding semi-private Boothbay Country Club also provide additional activity for the so-inclined. "
