About this House

This is a thoroughly renovated, beautiful modern split level (5 levels) single family house located in very nice, fully residential and quiet neighborhood (in north Bethlehem). Its address is 2725 Covington Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18017. The neighborhood is indeed great, walkable, and quiet, yet only 5-6 min drive away from Rt-33 and I-76 highway, which takes you to downtown Manhattan in about 90 min.

The house is now available for new tenants. Note that this is an upper scale, kind-off executive type house with a separated area for a potential in-low apartment with its own entrance, half bathroom and a kitchenette. The house has a fully equipped and modern kitchen, with stainless steel appliances such as double oven and a French-door refrigerator. It has four bedrooms: a master suite on the top level with separate bathroom and lots of closet space, plus three additional bedrooms, one level lower than the master suite - all with beautiful hardwood floors. That lower level also has a fully renovated bathroom, including the addition of a smart mirror, similar to the one in the master bathroom (see photos for details).

The living room, kitchen and a dining room are at the mid-level, also with beautiful hardwood floors. One level further lower (at the ground level) is a separated area, which if not used as an in-low apartment could be used as a large family room, laundry room and/or second kitchen (washer and dryer are currently there). There is a half bathroom on that level as well. The house basement is on the lowest level and it has a radon system installed. There is also an attached garage and a very nice deck overseeing large, fenced yard.

Not only that the house is located in a beautiful and safe neighborhood, but it is also assigned to the best north Bethlehem schools: Spring Garden Elementary, East Hills Middle, and Freedom High. Due to still ongoing renovation, the earliest the house could be shown to prospective tenants is in the afternoon of next Sunday, September 15th (by appointment only). In a meantime, if you are interested in renting this house, it is highly recommended that you first drive by and take a look at the area and at the house from the outside. If you like what you see outside, the odds are you will also like the inside of the house.

All rental inquires and applications will be fully and exclusively handled online through Zillow, including the credit, tenant, and background checks. Small pets (cats and truly small dogs) could be allowed upon special approval from the landlord.

The monthly rent is $2,325.-. The 1st and the last month rent, plus a security deposit equal to one month rent are required at signing ($6,975 total due). The lease is for at least 1 year, after which it could be renewed on a month-to-month basis upon a mutual agreement. Security deposit is to be returned to the tenants upon lease end, as required by PA law, assuming that there are no tenant caused damages. All utilities are responsibility of the tenants.
